What is a Digital Video Recorder?
A Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is the heart of any CCTV security system and is used for recording, retrieving and managing video from all the connected CCTV Cameras simultaneously. Our DVR's adopts the latest digital image compression to compress the video streams and uses an internal hard disk to record the CCTV images.
Easy to Use
The friendly icon based graphical interface means you'll be up and running in no time. Similar to a PC, you'll be accessing all the menus and features in no time using the supplied USB mouse.
Latest Technology H264 Compression
H.264 otherwise known as MPEG-4 Part 10 or AVC (Advanced Video Coding) takes DVR recording and compression to another level and is advantageous over the older DVR recording formats as it can record high quality images and much smaller file sizes without any noticeable loss of quality.
High Resolution D1 Video
Unlike other DVR’s in this price range that record at 352x288 (CIF), this DVR records up to an astonishing 704x576 (D1) resolution. Plus you have up to various quality settings to ensure you get the most from your storage space.
Network Connectivity
Access, search, store, and download your high quality images via your local network or the Internet via the built-in RJ45 Ethernet port and password enabled internal web server.

Motion Detection
Along with the usual continuous and scheduled recording methods, using the in-built notion detection you can capture and record images when movement is detected. Choice of Viewing
So much choice of viewing devices. Connect a standard TV or AV Monitor, standard VGA monitor or view over your local network (LAN). You have a choice of viewing options such as multi-view where you can view and monitor every camera on screen or just a single camera in full screen mode. All this while the CCTV DVR is constantly recording every camera in the background.
Realtime Viewing and Recording

Easy Backup of Evidence
Simply plug in a USB Memory Stick (or any USB device such as a USB DVD Writer) in to the USB port, find the footage you need to archive, press back up, and that's it. Your video footage is saved and aRchived for evidence with a choice of formats such as AVI for playback on any PC or Encrypted MP4.
